The True Story

Five years back, we had no idea that one day, we would be running an education platform like this, that too which makes learning so easy with beautiful animations, that too with a Youtube channel with more than two lac subscribers, and that too on the topic of ‘Stock Market and Investing’. Irony is that, back then, we did not even understand how stock markets worked!

So, what happened in these five years?

In short, we became what Charlie Munger says, ‘a learning machine.’ As a matter of fact, we both are engineering dropouts, and after gaining the freedom of learning whatever the hell we liked, we dived deep following our curiosities and interests.

After two years of self-learning and getting sick of our monotonous jobs, in August 2019, we decided to do something together. We found that there were not many Youtube channels where one can learn about stock market and investing in a simple way. Some were jargon heavy, some just made misleading clickbait videos for views, and others just didn’t know that they didn’t know.

Thus, as the old saying goes, ‘necessity is the mother of invention’, we invented ‘True Investing’, a Youtube channel where we would teach whatever we knew and continually learn about stock market, investing and finance in a simple way, without misleading, with true information, and with the sole aim to help people learn investing.

We believed it then and we believe it now, investing is a simple process, it may not be easy (that’s why we are here to help) but it is simple. Warren Buffett says that, ‘you don’t have to be a genius to make a good amount of money over time in stock market.’ And we bow to this sermon.

So, if you want to learn investing, start now! Read books, watch interviews, see our videos, read investor blogs, and with time you cannot help but make money. We have learned whatever we teach at ‘True Investing’ by ourselves and so can you!
